THE MOUNTAIN OF THE FAMILY. -Children are like arrows in the hands of a warrior. As a parent, you are the warrior. (Psalms 11:1-3 -If the foundations are destroyed or shaken,fault cracks and lines begin to form. (Ephesians 6:10) -All God-given institutions have clear instructions on how they should run. (1st Tim 3:14) -The Word of God is the foundation of the truth. -When the foundations are shaking, we need to come back to the church and the word. (2nd Tim 2:16-19) -Avoid Godless chatter. -God's solid foundation has not changed or shifted. Go back to it. -His principles concerning the family have not changed. (2nd Tim3:1-3) We must do warfare. -Nothing shakes the foundations like the lack of knowledge of God's word. (Gen 1:26-28) -God created an institution that cannot be shaken by anything. -When grounds shift, they reveal the fault lines of the family or marriage. -We need to take authority.
